Shake a leg is an incredible Miami organization and I was so happy to see that Plum did a piece on them. Great job and please do more stories like this! It exemplifies what a multi-faceted community we live in.

Five years ago I was fortunate to learned about Shake-A-Leg Miami. What a wonderful experience...to see at first hand, that people with physical, emotional and economically challenges have the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of this beautiful center...where dreams come true every day. Congratulations to Dr. Barth A. Green, Harry Horgan and the many others, including donors and volunteers, who continue to work hard every single day to keep this dream alive!!!

Shake-A-Leg is a fantastic organization. The video is great and tells the mission in a very clear way. I will send it to all my contacts and post it in nonprofitmiami@yahoogroups.com for about a 100 organizations to watch it.

I have known Harry Horgan for years and he is a true American Hero. Selfless and driven, he has created and delivered a gift to thousands of children and disabled persons giving them more than their self respect and human spirit back to them.

It's about time he got the recognition for his efforts that he more than deserves. I truly enjoyed the piece that Plum TV created and hope to see a more publicity about Harry and his utopia created from a dream.

I have been associated with SALM both as a volunteer and an employee, and what they do is absolutely amazing. I always love to see them promoted and this was an excellent piece.

This was a great video about a wonderful organization.I'm proud to support Harry in all his endevors!

This is a very good video and accurately portrays the wonderful things that happen at and because of S-A-L. As one of the "hundreds of" volunteers, I see and feel first hand the excitement and new-found sense of achievement and empowerment felt by so many of the people served. It should make a person feel good just to know that such programs exist.

What an amazing place! What else do they do? I want to see more.

I am a volunteer with shakealeg. I started volunteering one year ago because i love sailing and shakealeg seemed like a friendly place and a great philanthropic organization. Very quickly i fell in love with this magical organization of staff, volunteers, and the children and adults they serve, in an environ.ment that is incredibly loving and supportive. After all, its loving and supportive people, friends and family that make us happy, and no where else I've ever been, have I felt this happy. It's not success or money that drives me, it's being at shakealeg and participating in the magic this special place creats.

Well done Plum!
Shake-a-Leg is a great program, and this video article does a wonderful job of showing that.

Miami should be very proud --I only hope other cities will take a long look at how Miami has made good use of waterfront space and other resources with Shake-a-Leg.

An absolutely amazing service that Miami can be very proud of. Truely illustrates a group of people with their hearts in the right place and sharing that goodness with other people. The more this message can get out to our community and other areas around the country, the more people who will be able to benefit directly or indirectly. A huge acknowledgement and thanks to everyone involved making shake a leg possible.

This was an excellent article on Shake a leg. The folks there are wonderful and dedicated. They do their best to expose people who want to experience the wonder of the Bay and help them do it at their own level. They are one of the best organizations in the world.

Had no idea it was as large and as organized as what I just saw. .. the creators, the staff, and the volunteers are all to be congratulated, as it is an enormous amount of work to get all this happening how it should.
PLUM should do more stories such as this, which is not only important as a documentary and community effort, but also heartfelt.

an amazing video for an amazing place. I first heard of Shakealeg two years ago and it has grown so much! It is pieces like this that our community needs to see and hear about! It is nice to know where to eat, drink and play in South Florida but it is even better to know where to use your heart and your time.

Wow...incredibly inspiring. Congratulations to Shake-A-Leg Miami for doing such good work and for doing it in such a beautiful way. The short documentary is gorgeous and tells the story elegantly.

I have been blessed to be touched by the spirit of Shake-A-Leg in myriad positive ways. I remember sailing with Jeff Reynolds when Shake-A-Leg had a single Freedom sailboat anchored off the Coconut Grove Sailing Club -- before they even had their own docks.

Over the years, I've enjoyed sailing, kayaking, overnight saling/campaing trips with the University of Miami Physical Therapy School, FUNdraisers, regattas and countless friendships.

I know I am just one of thousands of individuals whose life has been enriched by Shake-A-Leg and I shall remain forever grateful to the inspiration of Barth Green, M.D. and Harry Horgan.

I have had the opportunity to volunteer at Shake-A-Leg Miami a few years ago with a local elementary school. It is truly a remarkable program. Thanks PlumTV for taking the time to do a great piece on Shake-A-Leg! Hope to see more soon :)

I took sailing lessons at SALM. After I finished the class's they would have evening races where an accomplished handicap person would be at the helm steering the boat and giving sailing commands. Truly a very remarkable situation. Shake-a-Leg is probably one of the purist organisations one will ever run across. They are purely driven to help in any way they can, no road blocks,no problems just pure unselfish training and assistance. It's a great organisation.

Congratulations to the Shake-a-leg staff and volunteers for the extraordinary blessings they bring to our community. Miami is fortunate to have this dedicated organization launching boats and dreams for children and adults in our town. As a parent, educator, and volunteer I am awed and inspired evry time I visit the site and observe the energy, activity, and creativity of the staff and participants. It is truly representative of the diversity of our community and an example of the best qualities of human nature. Thanks to Plum TV for this excellent piece and hope that this will be broadcast to the entire news community on the major stations.
